My book has finally arrived! "Look Out World, Here I Come!" is an inspirational book of reflections I wrote during my years spent doing humanitarian mission wo...rk in Kenya. I now have a stock of paperback ($20) and hardcover ($35) books if anyone in PG would like to purchase one from me. (No tax, no shipping). You can also purchase it online through any major distributor including Amazon. And there is an e-book option. Here's a link to the the book through my publisher, Friesen Press: https://books.friesenpress.com//M.-Alexis-Morgan-%22Look-O

Angeline is now putting it all together!! I posted some snippets of her playing parts of her songs a couple of weeks ago. Now, she is able to play the "The Rose" by improvising the melody, the chords and the left hand all at the same time! Way to go Angeline!!
This is Albert, one of my star students! He is a mature student who started learning piano just a few years ago and has recently been focusing on learning jazz/ blues at Studio Alexis. Here he is with a lovely rendition of 'Misty". I can just imagine sitting back in a classy jazz bar listening to him play this jazz standard. Way to go Albert!
This is the same little genius who just recently learned how to play Twinkle Twinkle using both hands doing different parts and now look at her! She has taken her music composition to the next level improvising with full chords and adding her own rhythms. Thanks Santa for bringing her a real piano for Christmas! There is no stopping her now!
One of my star students, Laura-Lee, improvising with chords and doing awesome!! Such a natural. :)
This is one of my star students at Studio Alexis. This is a recent lesson where she learned that she could use both hands together doing very different things and take Twinkle Twinkle to the next level! By the next lesson she could play it fast and perfectly as she does with every new song she puts her mind to. But I love this video because it captures the moment she took an important and difficult musical step! Sooooo proud of this little musical prodigy! (Thanks to her mom for permission to share.)
