The demand for classes is high and we have been discussing with our teachers how to restart while respecting both the need for maintaining personal distance and the restricted space in our studio. Our solution is to offer private and semi-private classes for a reduced rate, coupled with periods of autonomous, solo work time between lessons. What that would look like is two hours of instruction at $40 per hour for a private class or $35 per person for semi-private. After that,... you would work independently on, for example, glass cutting and assembly, by simply booking studio time at $5 per hour. There are always staff members around to answer questions and for a little guidance during this stage. Once you are ready for the next step, you would simply book the instructor for another hour or two, as needed to finish up. With this approach, the price of learning is kept close to what a traditional class would cost with the added features of more personalized instruction while still maintaining social distance. Available hours are: Monday - Thursday between 10:00 and 17:00 Fridays between 10:00 and 15:00 Saturdays between 14:00 and 17:00 Sundays on demand If you would like to book a lesson or have any questions or concerns, please call us at 514-842-3968 or email [email protected].

One of our studio's latest installations is the creation of these simple and elegant windows in the home of a well-known Montrealer. The textured glass ensures privacy while still letting the light in and the classic style really enhances the aesthetic of this beautiful house.

One of the joys of being in the business of stained glass restoration is the absolute beauty of some of the pieces we have the good fortune to work on. This latest project has us restoring a piece from UQAM’s Sherbrooke Pavillion which is part of the Pierre-Dansereau Science Complex. The building was built in the Beaux-Arts style between 1909 and 1911 according to the principles of classical French architecture and the contemporary theories of Julien Guadet. Here’s a peek at the before pictures.

We are getting ready to add to our business hours with a return to Saturday shopping! As of July 11th, we will be open once again on Saturdays from 10:00 to 14:00. The store has been operating with a "counter-service" model to provide a Covid-safe shopping experience for our clients and employees. With the Saturday opening, there will be fewer employees in the store and customers will have a little more freedom to move around if they are wearing a mask. As is currently the case, only 2 clients will be allowed into the store at any one time and those that have phoned ahead for a rendezvous will have priority. If you have any questions or concerns, we are reachable at 514-842-3968 or by email at [email protected].
