A little bit of paint, painter’s tape and patience can make a huge impact in an otherwise standard bathroom. I had chosen a patterned accent tile for the shower feature wall so using it as inspiration I blew up the pattern and repeated it on the main bathroom wall. That feature wall was so impactful that the rest of the walls felt a little weak so I extended bands of color along the other two walls to complement the feature wall. The result is a bold, beautiful bathroom which was achieved very inexpensively. The same idea can be applied to any area of the house using fabric for inspiration.
