What a week this has been. There really aren't words to describe how we're all feeling at this moment, but we wanted to pop on social to give a quick update. Given the current landscape of what's happening with COVID-19, we've made the decision to close our physical office and have our team work from home until we are clear to re-open. We're sure that many of you are in the same situation and we know that it's not easy. We certainly don't have this working from home as a te...am thing totally figured out, but we're adapting day-by-day and doing our best to keep some of our usual habits and rituals in place to keep a small sense of normalcy. For instance, every morning at 9:15 am we do a team huddle, which now looks like meeting on Google Hangouts to share what each person is focused on for that day and to talk about anything new that has come up. In times like this, it's important to talk, share, and support one another - in that spirit, if you and your team are working from home, we'd love to hear how you're managing and what tools and systems and rituals you are implementing/continuing to use to stay connected, focused, and productive. One of our leaders, Robin Mondor, has been volunteering with Nutrition for Learning this past year, so when she brought the #mugshotselfie campaign to us, it was a no brainer to participate! Every mug sale goes toward nutrition programs for students in this region. If you want to support N4L, drop by the Waterloo Regional Police Service headquarters or the Greater KW Chamber of Commerce to get your mug, snap a selfie, and use the mugshot selfie hashtag!
