You might be waiting to start exercising until you feel motivated. The problem with motivation is that it comes and goes, you probably wont be motivated consi...stently enough to get real results when it comes to getting fit. Another place this is true is keeping a job, if you only go to work on days you feel motivated you probably wont be able to hold down a steady job. You can use a lot of the same strategies that you use to go to work to get fit. Here are 3 examples. Scheduling - Most jobs tell you what times you will be at work. You dont just fit in into your schedule when you have a chance. If you schedule your exercise, like physically on your calendar, you are more likely to stick to it. Long term view - If you just stopped working today, nothing in your life would change overnight, just like not working out today wont get you any more out of shape. But if you focus on the months and years ahead then you realize that showing up today can improve your life in the long run, even if it means doing something you dont want to do today. Accountability - For most jobs, if you dont show up someone notices and will eventually call you out on it. You can also find ways to be held accountable to your exercise program. Whether that means working out with a friend, joining a community like Crossfit, hiring a coach or joining an online fitness community. Whatever you choose, if you are having problems exercising regularly you need a better strategy than try harder. Think of how lucky you are that you are capable of making your body stronger and more healthy! Just a quick thought as we head into the weekend. Working out and... eating well can have a tremendous, positive impact on our health. Being able to feel better, stay healthier, recover more quickly, and simply be more capable are all things that we shouldnt take for granted. The physical, outward benefits of consistent exercise and maintaining a healthy diet often get the lions share of attention, but we absolutely should not discount the many health benefits we reap. Its important that you listen to your body, move at your own pace, modify, and take extra breaks if and when you need to. This is something that we should remi...nd ourselves of every single time we work out. We want to push ourselves and get the most out of our workouts, of course, but we also need to respect what our bodies are telling us and react accordingly. A big part of this is getting your mindset right before you even push play, and not getting down on yourself if youre not exactly where you think you should be. *** IMPORTANT NOTICE *** Studio Olympus is happy to welcome you all back! The following are some rules we kindly ask that you read and follow during your training sessions with us. Thank you in advance for your time and patience as we adjust to what is being called the new normal. - The Gym has undergone a deep cleaning because of renos and also to ensure you return to a safe environment. ... - First and foremost you need to go immediately to the hand sanitizer in the entrance before touching any other surfaces. - Only one Employee will be behind the Front Desk at a time and is only able to assist one Member at a time while other Members wait in the designated areas maintaining social distances of 6ft. We ask for your patience as our Employees try to assist with any questions you may have as promptly and safely as they can. - Please do your best to get in and get your training done in a timely manner so others can also get inside and do the same. We will have to take note of how many are in our facility at a time. Otherwise we will have to set up scheduling. - there will be hand sanitizing stations set up throughout the gym. - A constantly cleaning mindset will be needed by employees and members alike to ensure everyones safety. - Extra spray bottles armed with disinfectant will be placed throughout in order to ensure cleaning before and after use of equipment. - Floor signs are in place to help with social distancing. - No person to person contact at all times unless a safety issue is occurring. - We kindly ask that you bring a pre-filled water bottle for the duration of your training. Any bottles left behind will need to be disposed of. We also still have bottles of water for sale. - Members are kindly expected to use best judgement when determining if a piece of equipment or workout area can be used safely while maintaining the recommended 2 metres (6 ft) of physical distancing. - washroom and change room facilities will remain open to Members, however proper physical distancing must be maintained at all times. For now use of lockers will NOT be available. - Clients must be prepared to handle their own weights and equipment. Workouts must be modified so as to require spotting as less as possible. If necessary all members involved must wear a mask. - Handshakes and physical greetings are sadly not permitted. We will need to do our best to shorten chats and be as productive as possible. Were in this together, and we need to work together to keep everyone healthy and safe. By taking care of those around us, we are also taking care of ourselves and our community. Our new health and safety standards will be updated regularly. It is important to recognize that public health information and provincial orders can change quickly. All employees will be wearing a mask when Social distancing cannot be practiced.

I know we have the go ahead to open June 5th but we are not yet finished a few last details in order to ensure you come back to a fresh space fully ready to keep you all active and safe. Unfortunately we will not be opening on may 29 . the Government of New Brunswick announced today that the opening dates for Gyms will be June 5th. Please be patient we are just as discouraged as you are .but for your safety and ours better to be safe than sorry

Premier Blaine Higgs announces that because of what's happening in the Campbellton region (three more cases today...six total in zone 5) that the loosening of r...estrictions for the province in the yellow phase will be DELAYED FOR ANOTHER WEEK. Gatherings of 50 people or less, religious ceremonies, etc will be delayed until next Friday at least. The Province is extending the state of emergency for another two weeks. Information has been passed along to the RCMP regarding the medical professional who travelled to Quebec, contracted Covid-19, and then came back to the province and saw patients and started this outbreak.
