Powerdance Performance..... The performance, at St Willibrord Parish, on Oct 12, 2019, by the dancers was exceptional; they danced with such heart and soul, putting everything they had into performing each piece. It was a memorable experience. The choreography of Douglas Nierras, who is a self proclaimed storyteller, draws the audience in to the story through music and well timed, expressive movements. He put a little bit of himself in every piece; using his life experience...s and what is going on around him. What is truly remarkable is the stories of the dancers. Douglas Nierras went to some of the poorest neighbourhoods in the Philippines, some of them living on the streets, and encouraged them to learn how to dance and to see that through dance they can improve their quality of life. Douglas Nierras saw something special in these individuals and encourage to be the best possible version of themselves and helped them to live up to their potential. It is truly heartwarming to the see the dancers working together in unison, telling the stories envisioned by Douglas Nierras.

Flea Market.... something for everyone. Spread the word,at St Willibrord Parish, there will be a flea market this Saturday, March 2, 2019, from 9:00AM to 3:00PM, at 325 Willibrord Ave, down the street from the Verdun Metro.
