Great weekend adventures await!

My goddaughter is incredibly adorable! I mean, LOOK AT THAT FACE! My friends make beautiful babies, ya know. So glad I had the chance to spend time with this hunny bunny last weekend. Can't wait so see the rest of the official photos of her pastel rainbow-themed shoot.

I'm planning to reuse my wedding veil as a canopy for our second baby's bassinet (that is if my husband and I are able to save up for another room renovation project). In the meantime, we'll let it capture dreams and gather more memories by using it as a makeshift love tent, strung on a piece of twig. A picnic does not have to be restricted to the usual rug-and-hamper repertoire. It can be fancy and festive (and not expensive)--do not limit yourself to the usual red gingham blankets! It's been a while since I posted something here but that's not to say that nothing has happened! Our little family has been traveling a lot, because for us, traveling is a passion. It's not just about collecting sites and cities or crossing off countries from our bucketlist, but more about experiencing life in different places. It's about building family memories and learning. Last weekend, to encapsulate our love for adventure and meaningful trips, we rented out a beautiful kombi van and had our second family photo shoot in the midst of nature. In the meantime, here's a camera phone shot by my husband who also helped me do the last-minute styling/DIYs for this modern boho "van life"-themed shoot.

There is such freedom when you find an expressionwhen you step away from your computer, your regular desk job, your daily routine as a homemakerand just let your mind run free and make those crazy dreams come through the lens and into photographs. Today, as I try to decide whether I re-sit or bravely step out into the world, I got a sign from my grade school best friend (and now official collab partner).
