After watching the WECHU update live on youtube today, it seems clear that there will be many new restrictions added by the end of the week and into next week. While they aren't saying for sure that we will be in lock down, it seems very likely. My appointments this week are already full, but I'll be calling people regarding those that will be cancelled going forward and I'll start a list again of people to call when it is safe to resume appointments.

So far we get another week without lock down.

Hello!! I know everyone is becoming increasingly worried about a possible lock down happening again and what that will mean for appointments. As with the last time, if salons are ordered to close, I will also not be making appointments with clients. For the moment, however, we are only going into the Orange level. This will not greatly change the way appointments will go with me for the moment. There is one requirement though that I have to add, and that is officially screening clients before your appointment. I would hope that all of you would call to reschedule if you had any symptoms already, but I'm playing it all by the rules. The following questions will be asked before your appointment.

If you have a little one who has a difficult time with haircuts, I can help. Before going back to college to become a hairstylist a few years ago, I spent close to a decade working as a children's entertainer and gained a lot of experience working with small children. That experience has been very helpful when I'm working with little ones. While the first couple of appointments might still have some tears, I've helped several children overcome their fears and learn to enjoy getting their hair cut! If any parents would like to comment below and share, I'm sure it would be appreciated.
