Our chiropractors are so excited to see our awesome patients again! We've been answering emails and phone calls like crazy and our first week back is already nearly full. We appreciate your patience as we work with a more limited schedule to be able to meet physical distancing requirements. We've also been in to give the clinic an extra good clean before we see you. We will be working extra hard to sanitize everything appropriately between each patient, so we hope you like the smell of cleaners!

I am sure all of you are aware that Alberta has announced its plan to reopen the province. Chiropractors have been included in the initiation of this process, and Sublime will soon be open for regular chiropractic visits. Re-opening with COVID-19 still present in the community presents us with unique challenges, and we are hard at work making changes to better promote patient safety and health in the clinic. That way, when you are able to see us again, you can rest assured t...hat we are taking proactive measures to keep you safe. Here are some of the changes we are making at the clinic: - Increased sanitation and cleaning of the clinic and treatment rooms - Pre-screening patients before they enter our clinic - Timing patient visits to allow for physical distancing In addition to those changes, you will notice some differences when you come to the clinic. Our waiting room will be a little less cozy. Our staff will be wearing masks. It will smell like cleaner and Lysol wipes almost all the time. But we will still be offering the same awesome treatments by our talented chiropractors, and will have the same personable (if physically distanced) admin staff. The above changes may take some time to get used to, but we are making them because the health of our patients and staff remains our top priority. We hope to be opening by next week, but our exact opening date is to be determined. We will be sure to let all of you know once we know. So I would just like to preface this by saying that I really don't like being on camera. But I'm going to try and push into this discomfort zone a bit over the next few weeks to bring you all some ideas on things you can incorporate into your day to take care of yourself while we can't see you in person. I make no promises on how regularly we'll be posting things like this, as I have a very active 10 month old at home keeping me busy! Today I'm starting with something simple:... breathing. We have very heavy hearts this weekend. To comply with the wishes of our governing bodies and to avoid unintentionally spreading COVID-19, we are no longer able to treat patients. We are closely monitoring the situation and will do our best to keep you updated. We, like everyone else, hope this passes quickly. We will do our best to remain available for emergent patients who have no COVID-19 risk factors. Email or Facebook will be the best ways to catch us since our phone will not be checked regularly. I'm sure all of you are getting exhausted by all of the COVID related updates, but we wanted to let you know that at this point, we are still open. We are taking extra precautions by regularly sanitizing any frequently contacted surfaces, and we have put our toys away for the time being (a heads up for anyone bringing their kids - please bring your own toys for them to play with while they are here) We would like to reiterate that if you are sick or have recently traveled, please call us to reschedule your appointment. We will not be charging any fees for last minute cancellations at this time. We want to keep all of our patients and practitioners as safe and healthy as possible!

In light of the current situation, we would like to remind our patients that as always, you should stay home and focus on recovery if you are feeling unwell. We also ask that you stay home if you hav...e been traveling outside of Canada within the 2 weeks preceding your appointment, especially if you are experiencing any symptoms. We will be asking all of our patients (and friends/family accompanying them) to wash their hands with soap and water when they arrive at the clinic. Im not sure how we forgot to share about our staff Christmas this year!? We had a great time last week at the mayfield dinner theatre. Delicious food, awesome show, and, of course, the best company.
