Have your voice heard! What do you feel makes an inclusive, welcoming and supportive work environment for autistic workers? Autistic adults who are working, who have work experience, or who want to work are invited to share their input on the Autistic Inclusive Workplaces Survey. The survey will take about 15-20 minutes to complete. Survey link: https://bit.ly/2VMchMx Link In Bio. The survey is scheduled to close on Friday, May 22, 2020. In the interest of public health and safety, Substance Cares has postponed its annual Spectrum Works Job Fair, originally scheduled for April 8. The decision was made as a precautionary measure to address concerns around the spread of COVID-19. With public health instructions shifting daily, Substance Cares made the difficult decision to postpone the fair to ensure we are being responsible in taking into account the health of job seekers who want to attend, as well as the em...ployers and volunteers who were scheduled to participate, says organizer Neil Forester. Our goal is for as many job seekers to take advantage of the tremendous employment opportunities available through the job fair. By postponing the event to a later date, we can better ensure more job seekers can participate without concern for their health, he added. Substance Cares would like to thank all it’s the employers, service providers, exhibitors and volunteers for their ongoing support and looks forward to rescheduling the Spectrum Works job fair once COVID-19 risks have subsided.
