Local playwright Judi Straughan takes on the 1974 theft of two A.Y. Jackson originals from Sudbury Secondary in a fundraising play to benefit community radio station CKLU Radio - 96.7. More details below... ----------------------- JOB POSTING Title: Arts Administration Assistant Application Deadline: Friday, November 27th, 2020 Pay: $20 hourly for 15 hours per week Location: Sudbury Term: Part-time contract position for 22 weeks Start Date: January 2021 Since 1996, Myths and Mirrors has been working with diverse groups in Sudbury to develop collaborative art projects and programs that provide opportunities for creative expression. We seek to create innovative, experimental art, to engender a sense of community identity, and most importantly, to provide a forum for folks to express themselves. This position is best suited for someone seeking to gain experience in arts administration in the community arts and/or non-profit sector. Working closely with the Artistic Director, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop and grow skills in administration, community outreach, grant writing and reporting, social media management, and more. Candidates that identify as Black, a Person of Colour, and/or Indigenous are strongly encouraged to apply.
