Please print petition, get signatures and drop off to Jamie's office... From Jamie West Sudbury Attached is my ‘Preventing Overdoses in the North’ Petition. Although we will also be creating an online petition, I can only read pen-signed, paper petitions at Queen’s Park. If you would like to collect signatures, please save and print this JPG. Then return it to my office once completed. FYI: You do not have to fill in the Collected by or on behalf of sections. However, if you chose to fill those in, I will quote it when I read and submit the petition at Queen’s Park. #OnPoli

We have many members that have have served our country. So thank you to each and every one of you and your families for serving our country! Your contributions to our country are greatly appreciated. Lest we forget the brave men and women that paid the ultimate sacrifice for our country. May be take care of any soldiers that have been injured (whether visible injuries or non visible), and thank you to anyone who has or continues to serve our country. Lest we forget.
Great job LUFA!
We would like to thank those that participated in the MP lobbies (Mike Bellerose, Heather Erlen, Rachelle Lacoste and Jessica Montgomery) Both MP Marc Serre and MP Paul Lefebvre have committed to quarterly meetings to discuss Canada wide issues and local issues. Hopefully we can have many leaders join us! We were able to discuss topics such as Universal Pharmacare, Universal Childcare, Supporting Unions on lockout or stike and more! Overall they were good conversations - but we don't want empty promises, we want to see follow through...which is why we want quarterly meetings. Reason # 201 to be active in the Sudbury and District Labour Council :).

For anyone looking for a Remembrance Day ceremony, this video was made here in Sudbury. Having served, I am so proud of our veterans for putting this together and make sure we still have a ceremony. Please feel free to share and make this video go viral :) Lest we forget.... Thanks, Mike Bellerose President SDLC

What a turnout!!!!
Article written about our Labour Day event today!!
Labour Day in Sudbury 2020 I was asked to take some photos of the Labour Council's Labour Day Car Rally. I was glad to oblige but there has been a definite lea...rning curve in photographing a car rally as opposed to the traditional Labour Day Parade. Expecting the rally to proceed at dead slow (5-10 km/h), I had planned to have photos taken at Bell Park, the bridge of Nations and the Brady Street Underpass. Didn't happen. The lead car took off at a high rate of speed and the other cars were stretched to keep up. Even though I had arranged for a driver, we couldn't keep up. I managed one useful pic at Bell Park but no others until I reached the Steel Hall. New conditions all around. We will learn how to work in the new conditions.
