Greater Sudbury Kinette Club "Partners For life with Cystic Fibrosis" 13.11.2020

Greater Sudbury Kinette Club donates to the House of Kin through proceeds directly from the OLG and Delta Bingo Sudbury! Thank you for supporting our local groups and organizations! Thank you to Delta Bingo for allowing us to be a part of this and allowing us to help our community!! House of Kin allows families to stay close to their loved ones in hospital while in Sudbury at a fair and reasonable rate. But they are only able to do this through donations and we are proud to be of assistance.

Looking for a way to help students pay for their post-secondary education? Kin Canada Bursaries are supported by Kinsmen, Kinette and Kin Clubs across Canada and is a program of the Hall Rogers Endowment Fund. Each year, $1,000 bursaries are awarded to successful Canadian applicants who are pursuing post-secondary education at a recognized university, community college, technical institute and other schools for advanced education. Who should apply?... Any students working hard to give back to their community and may need a little financial assistance to achieve their goals. You do not have to be a member of Kin to apply, however we encourage you to reach out to the club nearest the applicant to get to know about Kin Canada. Applicants must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents. Mature students are also eligible. Does the educational program have to fit certain requirements? Yes - it must be a full time post-secondary program. This can be in the trades, a technical institute, college, university or any other registered post-secondary institution. How many bursaries are awarded? Last year 123 students received bursaries across Canada! When can students apply? Applications are accepted between October 1st and February 1st of each calendar year. How can students apply? Applications must be sent by mail or email to only 1 local Kinsmen, Kinette or Kin Club. Reach out to the person who sent this email or go on our "Find a Club" page to find the contact information for your nearest club. Download a fillable pdf of the application at our website: kincanada.ca/apply Where can I find more information? Visit our site www.kincanada.ca/bursaries At Kin Canada Bursaries, we know there are many reasons that may make it challenging for students to achieve their post-secondary goals and we want to help! Encourage the students you know to apply, share their story and tell us why $1000 would help make a difference for them. Be sure to tag @KinCanadaBursaries on social media and follow us for easy to share resources!
