CLINIC UPDATE- May 27, 2020 - We’re back! As of last evening, May 26th, the Ministry of Health has amended Directive #2 to allow for "all deferred and non-essential and elective services carried out by Health Care Providers" to be gradually restarted. That’s means that chiropractors in Ontario can return to work provided they are compliant with operational requirements.... We have been working diligently over the past few months to implement these requirements so we would be ready for you when this day came - and it’s here! We have yet to hear about the status of massage therapy but will provide you that info as soon as it’s available to us! Our official reopen date is Monday, June 1st. In the clinic you will notice: Hand sanitation stations throughout Physical distancing signage where appropriate Plexiglass barrier at our reception Scaled back waiting room/ reception area Screening procedures for calls and in office PPE on our practitioners for safety Increased sanitation and disinfecting of all furniture, tables and surfaces As exciting as this news is, there are still responsibilities to ensure the safety of our staff and patients. - CLINIC UPDATE - May 15,2020 - We first want to take this opportunity to thank all of our patients for being so understanding of our restrictions during this unprecedented time. As we all know, Phase 1 of re-opening Ontario was announced yesterday, and unfortunately, Chiropractors have not been given permission from our government or regulatory bodies to re-open fully at this time. As disappointing as this may be for some, it provides us with more time to better prepare the... clinic for our return. In the meantime, we want to reassure all of you that we are taking precautions to make sure that when we re-open, we will be rigorously following guidelines set out by the our provincial government and public health officials. This includes a newly installed plexiglass barrier at the front desk reception, hand sanitizer conveniently located throughout the clinic and PPE for the practitioners when we re-open. We will continue to update you on the status of our re-opening as the news becomes available to us from the province and our regulatory bodies. At this time, we will continue to take emergency and urgent patients who have gone through our prescreening process before any in-person appointments.
