Kathy Sinclair is a big believer in high-density housing and having a small environmental footprint, so when she saw the design for the microsuites at The Station on Tranquille, she jumped at the chance to buy a suite. I always wanted to live in a tiny home, so this is the next best thing. I don’t own a lot of stuff and like to keep things simple. Having lived in Vancouver for several years, Kathy thought home ownership would be out of reach. Then she moved to Kamloops and ...realized it was a possibility with affordable options like The Station. The location is close to restaurants and retail and within an easy walk to community gardens and both McDonald and McArthur Island Park, so there’s lots of places to hang out and recreate. Kathy also enjoys the large common patio area, which offers an extension of home for entertaining and visiting. It’s also a great place to meet neighbours and enjoy conversation.
