Noisey Creek Camping Road Update....The 3 Valley Connector is open and good to go. (ignore the sign that says closed at 11km) At 6km there is a washout but take... a left up to the powerline, follow powerline and take your 2nd right back down to the main road. You will have to tell traffic control coming out of Revy that you are camping at 3 valley gap to get through. You can GPS it as well. There is a HUGE line-up at Galena bay ferry so don't go that way. Its a forestry road so just take er' easy if your in a car. See everyone soon! See more

Peeps leaving from Revy, Calgary, Banff etc. planning on coming camping at Noisey Creek the road has washed out at Crazy Creek. The best detour is to go from Re...vy through 3 valley gap. There is a washout at 6km that you can go around. Turn up to the power lines and follow. Take second turn back to main road. You will have to tell traffic control in Revy that you are camping in 3 valley gap. Ignore the warning sign about a washout at km 11. It doesn't affect people headed to Noisey Creek See more

Morning Ya'll!! So the weather forecast is clearing up and looking sunny for most of the weekend. Looking forward to see all your faces in this special setting ...so let's go campin'!!! There are a couple important things to know before travelling. 1. Noisey Creek is located up a forestry rd. that connects to 3 Valley gap and also Lumby. Both of these roads are closed! You have to come via Enderby/Ashton Creek/Mabel Lake Rd. The turn off is a left hand turn up a dirt Rd. 30 kms East of Enderby bridge. If you arrive at my place you are 1km too far. Follow the signs. 2. The road is not in the greatest condition so it will be slow going if you decide to bring a low car. 3. The gate will not be closed at 11PM as stated in the previous message, so you can arrive whenever you want. Once you get down to the campsite simply turn left where the rd. forks and cross the bridge. 4. Dyl and I are making a massive chilli and potato salad to share and we will have a BBQ we will be putting to a lot of use. If people can bring a couple camp stoves that would help a lot. KAYAK RODEO CANCELLATION Last night at 11.pm we were informed that Kingfisher Interpretive Center and Cooke Creek Campground have closed due to flooding. In add...ition the rodeo hole has been washed out. So it is with heavy hearts we are left with no option but cancel the 22nd Annual Kayak Rodeo and Afterparty. We are as gutted as anyone that we cannot proceed with this special time we all get share together but this is a matter of public safety. Hopefully we can organize a make up event at a later date. All refunds will be made to those that did advance bookings. Please share
