Summerland begins roll out of park reopening plans After careful consideration and in accordance with Provincial health requirements and recommendations, the District will be taking a cautious approach to reopening of outdoor spaces and facilities, beginning with the following: May 15 Skatepark (dawn to dusk)... As of Noon, on Tuesday March 24th, the District of Summerland closed access to 'active parks' until further notice. The closure applies to District playgrounds, the skatepark and municipal sporting facilities to support requirements for physical distancing. https://www.summerland.ca/parks-recreation/skatepark

There may be intermittent closures at the skatepark throughout the spring for some final works and landscaping.
