In my final year of College, each student was required to create an IMC (integrated marketing communications) campaign, for The Bleacher Guys. I find it best to keep visuals updated and fresh, so as apart of my campaign I decided to redesign the brochure. I kept the visuals consistent with brand colours, maintained a simplistic appeal so the reader would not become overwhelmed and finally, finished off each page with a professional and warm feel.

Every detail of a design is crucial. You must critically think about placement, colours, alignment and so much more. Not only must you be critical, but you must have heart, and soul. If you do not put in your heart into each piece, it will just be another piece of paper. How must one love your art if you do not yourself? Some people love writing blogs, editing videos, or wood working. They put in an endless amount of work and in the end step back and can say, I did that. They... can see how much work they put in, because they lived it. They lived and breathed the piece. Like I live and breathe my designs. My life wouldn't be the same without InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. With every piece I can guarantee, I will put in every drop of passion into it; and you will not be disappointed. See more

While working for Laughing Demons, I created a poster for their special new years eve themed pub night. Here I contributed the appearance of the Great Gatsby theme by incorporating margarita glasses, a grey, crinkled paper background, and a golden colour for the font. I made the title (and theme) the main focus, making the glasses fade into the background so they did not take away from the heading. I used centre alignment with the important details and company logo at the bottom. Main attraction being first, then an image leading the eye to the important details, and finally the CTA.

When the word 'math' is spoken, not many use the word with excitement. When creating this poster, I decided to spice it up and add a little finesse to the poster. When you hear the word math, you think of white papered textbooks with blocks of text explaining a problem and a solution. I used a black background in reverse of the white pages of a textbook, and I used coloured banners so the text does not drift away in the black background. The icons have a relation to math, plus attract more interest to the poster. I hope this poster added a little more fun into your perspective of math as it did for me when creating this piece.
