Summer Theatre Smiths Falls here, it's been a long while! Hope everyone is staying safe and sane during this unsettling time. Unfortunately, due to the ongoing restrictions of public gatherings - we must postpone our 2020 inaugural season until the Summer of 2021. Until we can confidently respect the health and safety of our audience and our artists - we can not forge ahead. We are hopeful for our resurgence in 2021 to celebrate our resilience through this storm and honor our new found festival as it was intended. The theatre community at large continues to plan for the day we can gather again. To anyone finding ways to create and support during this time - we applaud you. Let us all come back from this stronger - and ready to hit the stage!

Summer Theatre Auditions for Girls Who Love to Sing! We are Summer Theatre Smiths Falls and we are looking for young women who look between the ages of 9-11 to sing and perform in our summer production of Maud Lewis: World Without Shadows.The rehearsal period will start mid-July and performances will run from August 6 - 30th.There will be two rotating groups of three children so each group will do four shows a week. This is a professional show so an understanding of the comm...itment is paramount. There will be a small honorarium at the end of the summer. Auditions will be in groups of six children. There will be physical theatre games to explore their comfortability on stage and their ability to communicate and be expressive. They will also be required to sing the first verse of All Creatures of Our God and King. MARCH 7 @ the Westminster Presbyterian Church in SMITHS FALLS, beginning at 10am & MARCH 8 @ Arts Court Library (2 Daly Ave., OTTAWA) beginning at 4:30pm.
