For some reason a long cold winter feels so isolating. It may have something to do with the constant thought of closing out the cold, curling up in a cosy blanket with some junk food and parking in front of our favorite reality show. Our friends and family who are also dealing with a separation or divorce are probably doing the same and contemplating what’s going on in their upside down life. What a difference a little effort on our part to make a call, meet for coffee or just smile could make! It would probably burn off 7 or 8 calories too ‘silver lining’ 28 days to spring!

2014 is starting off to be a very busy year for Summit. All Family Law professionals expect to get busier in January. For some reason a lot of couples make the decision to separate in the new year. May be holiday season is over or the start of a new year. Coming in 2014 we are planning to expand Summit both into the GTA and north into Keswick.
