Well, the debate among the leaders of BC's three largest political parties has come and gone, and it was done in perhaps the most respectful and polite manner possible. Kudos to all three leaders for achieving that. This year we have seen great cooperation among the parties in combating the COVID crisis and perhaps this cooperation will be continued in the future. A government is made up of all the elected members, not just the ruling party, and what a refreshing, positiv...e change this would be in politics. However, we are still left wondering why we are having a provincial election now, and what will our provincial government look like by the end of this month. One of two things will happen. Either one party will be able to form a majority government, or one party will have to try to form a minority government with the support of elected members of another party or parties to form a coalition, such as we already have. Given the cooperation seen in 2020, perhaps this would be the best solution. Whatever the outcome, let's hope that those elected will realize what their responsibilities are and continue to work together. Whatever you want the outcome of the election to be, make sure you cast your ballot to try to achieve that outcome. If you don't vote, don't complain, don't even comment. If you don't vote, by your own choice, you don't count and you have nothing to say.

The year 2020 has been a year of unexpected turmoil, and continues to be so. Perhaps this Thanksgiving Day holiday is an even more poignant time to reflect on all that has happened and be truly thankful for all the good things. We are thankful for the love and support of our friends and families, and the love and support of our clients, whom we interact with on a regular basis. We are also very thankful for all those people who work for us in what are called essential ser...vices....there are so many. Despite the current emotions of inter-party politics in the upcoming provincial election, and regardless of individual political opinions, it is important to credit all the politicians who worked together during this year to try to deal with the coronavirus pandemic. There has been great teamwork during a very difficult time, and it illustrates the truth in that government is the total of the elected representatives, not just the individual party currently in power, and they are responsible to work on behalf of all of us which I believe they have tried to do. Sometimes it's important to remember that the difficult times help us appreciate the good times, and realize how fortunate we really are. However you choose to celebrate Thanksgiving, and we hope you do, we hope you enjoy your day. See more

This is great....and way too close to the truth, as per documentaries such as Hacked and The Social Dilemma !
