Had the family out last weekend. Asked the kids what they wanted to do and the answer was fish fishing!!! Going to have a couple good deckhands in the near future. Lots of feeder springs around this year. Shaping up to be some good winter fishing if they stick around. Its one way to tire the kids out!!!

Matt and Dimitri were over on the Sunshine Coast on there family vacation and wanted to try and catch there first springs ever. Mission accomplished!!! With Dimitris at 84 cms release, hogust is officially upon us!!! What a great afternoon!! Thanx for coming boys!

A big thanx to jay for brining some visiting family members over to the sunshine coast from Chilliwack for a day trip of fishing!! What an afternoon we had. Big waves and big fish! Hogust is living up to its name on the Sunshine Coast. 2 keepers with one just squeaking in the slot limit and one monster we lost at the back of the boat. Thanx for coming guys it was a great time.

Happy BC day long weekend everyone!!! Hope it was a good one. Rusty, Jen, Maddison and Kayden cane down for there #staycation. The weather started off ruff and the fish werent cooperating but they tuffed it out! Weather laid down and the fish showed up. Topped it off with some fresh crab and prawns!! Great people to spend 2 days out on the water with!! Thanx for coming!! Cant wait to see you again.

Wow!!! What a day!!! Couldnt of asked for a better day with a good group of repeat guys on there annual #staycation! The sea was calm the fish were biting which led to panamonia when the pulled pork came out! Lots of smiles and memories made. Already cant wait until next year.

What a great weekend filled with family friends and most of all fishing!!! Boat is in the water and ready to go for opening July 15 and with all the fish around right now it cant come enough!!! Still some days available for opening weekend so let me know if you need something to this year on your staycation!!

Just had a great couple of days out on the water with my good buddy brian and his son Malcom. There were some good salmon bites to be had and the prawns werent shy either. Great way to stock up on food while the stores are selling out. Cant wait for next trip. Thanx brian cant wait until the next one.

Weather was amazing today! No keepers landed but some good action. Beer of choice was the Pilsner from Farm Country Brewing. Great beer Travis!! The prawns were bitting so the bucket at the end of the day made it all worth it.

What a great way to spend Christmas Day!! Great company. Good weather. The salmon werent biting but a handful of prawns and a crab in 2.5 hrs isnt to bad. It will go good with the salmon from the other day. Finally got my west coast Christmas dinner!! Merry Christmas everybody!!

Merry Christmas!! So family was able to plow threw the snow to come stay with us. What better way to spend the afternoon than out on the water. Didnt even get a chance to give the boat a scrub before we had one in the boat! Nice way to spend the afternoon. Kaylene was so excited to see papas fish when we got home. Hopefully the weather holds and we can get out again over the holidays.

Tonights sunset, our days have been sunny and dry.

Last trip of season was with a good family friend Rusty , his girlfriend Jen and daughter Maddison. Fishing was a bit slow and the weather came up on us and blew us off on the second day. The sun was shine and we had lots of laughs. Even had a first fir me, a rat fish in the prawn trap!! What a great way to end the season. Captain maddy even got us home safely.

Well it was a bit slow this afternoon... one last cast... there he is!!! Right in the spot!!! 12lb screamer to end the day!!! Good work chad. Well done!!

Had Marco out with friends and family. Even his 9 year old son jack! We split up into 2 groups. Morning and afternoon. Lots of hook up first thing but we managed to grind out 5 keeper springs 2 wild coho and a small feast of prawns. Great day with awesome people! Jacks smile says it all!!

Well day 2 didnt disappoint!! The action was fast and furious first thing. Hoochies and anchovies were the ticket today. 5 springs 2 lings and about 200 prawns. Was a great couple days. Thanx for coming down boys!!

Had the boys out from advantage roofing Ltd for day one of 3 today. Weather was great and the fish were biting!! Cant wait to see what tomorow brings!!!

Day 2 of opening didnt disappoint! Some nice fish around and lots of them. @tomiclures and hoochies were the last meals for these 2. Great weather, company with salmon bitting makes for a great day

Got to love the summer evenings on the coast. Hooked 9 with 4 double headers in 1.5hrs!! Thanx to the guys Sea-Run Fly & Tackle for the special order Tomic Lures . They were the hot ticket tonight!!! Cap the night off with a small bucket of prawns!! Not bad for 5 hrs of work!! Dates still available.

Took the Rylee-Kay out to stretch the legs a bit. Started off with a bit of ling fishing then the seas turned to glass!! How could we not go play some catch and release. Doubled up on the first pass!! Lots of fun still.

Early mornings or end of the day, rods in the water is the place to be

It was a nice day out there yesterday. Made a guy forget that we have been locked in the deep freeze of 2019!! Had propises around the boat, prawns in the traps and got my first squat lobster. Great day to be on the water.

Winter has made a return.

Well todays adventure went from ok to snowmen on the back deck in a hurry!! At least we got a couple prawns out of the deal.
