Day 7 - My Favourite Photos Sky, playing the ukulele on the cruise we took to Hawaii 3 years ago. He took daily lessons on the ship and when we were in Maui, he bought his own ukulele. Lately he’s been playing it more and learning more chords. Day 6 - My Favourite Photos This little bit of magic happened during a newborn session while her new baby brother was taking a feeding break. Rachel loves to dance and she had worn her favourite, fancy dress for the photo shoot. She was amusing herself with some twirls and dancing during the wait, so I turned my attention and camera on her. The photo book mentioned, that I will be working on, is actually a Kamloops specific book, that will feature only families from Kamloops and surrounding areas, who participated in The Front Steps Project.

On November 7th, my little sister, Heidi, got married, in small town in Iowa. I had the honour of capturing a few photos of the reception and their first dance! I’ll be honest, the lighting was SUPER challenging and I didn’t think to pack my flash! The good photos are few and far between. But this one, I’m kind of in love with!

When you book a photo session with me, I don't let you get away with just standing there saying 'cheese!' Come prepared to play and focus on each other, rather than on me and my camera. We had a lot of fun with this session on the Thanksgiving weekend!

I was so excited when Claire requested a photo session that incorporated some of the amazing murals we have in downtown Kamloops! We had the best time walking around, choosing which murals to use. I'm not allowed to share THE family photo because she wants it to be a surprise for their family Christmas card. I'll have to remember to share it later!

I just found out it's this little man's 2nd birthday today! Happy Birthday, Reuben! It seems like just yesterday I was taking your newborn photos.
