Ok so I went to check out Unwin park on Saturday morning 10:30 am. Looks good! So I will be offering an OUTDOOR YOGA CLASS at Unwin park at 10:30am-12 kirpalu style. This Saturday August 19th. Weather permitting. We will be meeting in the parking lot off of 134th street . Please let me know if you would like to attend and if you need a yoga mat. Blessings

Studio update Missing everyone!!! I am in the middle of moving and will be finished May 15th. Then I will have time to focus on finding a space to teach yoga in Newton. The Hanuman Temple is now leasing the yoga studio. But they have not yet agreed to let me use the space. Still negotiating. Sorry for the delay

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT Unfortunately I will be closing the doors to the studio as of May 1rst. I did not get the business loan I needed to continue on with the running of this studio and I can no longer shoulder the load on my own. I have notified all the members in the last month. The good news is the Hanuman Temple is taking over the lease and I will be able to share th...e space with them and continue teaching yoga at this location. I am very grateful for the opportunity to have owned this small business and watch it grow. I am very grateful for the opportunity to teach yoga at this location and most of all I am very grateful to all the people who came to my classes and have encouraged me to persevere. There have been many people in my life that have helped me along the way by providing emotional support, financial support, good business advice ,practical support,and simply being a good friend. OUTDOOR YOGA CLASS UNWIN PARK, NEWTON FRIDAY JULY 14th, 6pm Namaste everyone! So a good friend of mine thought up a fabulous idea of having an outdoor class to solve my space problem! I found a nice shady spot at unwin park to have a yoga class. It will be by donation or free for those of you that still have existing time on their memberships. I have 15 yoga mats I will be bringing that you can use or bring your own mat. We will meet at 5:45 pm in the parking lot on 134th street in between 72nd Ave and 68 the Ave. 6-7:30pm gentle Hatha yoga and meditation Kirpalu style :). Hope to see you all there! Blessings <3

Studio update Sorry it has taken me so long to post. I hope everyone is doing well and has found somewhere to practice yoga. Such a sweet surprise to see Carol in one of my classes a couple of weeks ago! Unfortunately the Hanuman Temple did not come through for me. They have decided to sublease to Indian dancers 5 days a week and they have no time slot for me. I am disappointed, but that's the way it goes. Maybe sometime in the future things will change. In the meantime, I will look for another place to sublease for a couple days a week. I would like to make sure I have squared things with everyone. Well the snow is melting and we are good to go! I will be at the studio tonight for the 5:30 pm yoga, Saturday tomorrow 10:30am yoga and 12:15 flow yoga, Sunday 10:30am yoga.
