Feb 3rd 2020 we started pruning. This year we're already half way through the vineyard! We didn't have too much snow on the ground in 2020 but winter rolled back in a few days later. By the looks of tomorrow's forecast we may get a repeat! Soaking in the sunshine whilst it's around

We finished pruning the Marechal Foch today: our first wee milestone of 2021. Nice to see a bit of sunshine and colour in the sky today too... a little icing on the Friday cake. Wishing you all a great weekend

The last bin! The last picking bin is like the first big exclamation mark of the harvest season. It marks the end of another year growing grapes and all the pressure, surprises and challenges that come with it. Mother Nature even gave us a little "seeya next year" and treated us with an absolutely stunning sunset over the crushpad. Big thanks goes out to the picking crew of 2020. Brought in our half acre of Pinot Noir yesterday! A chilly but short harvest. A touch of sunshine that didn't exactly warm things up but hopefully spread a little joy to the pickers. Fruit looked beautiful
