I visited the Field of Crosses on Memorial Drive yesterday. The crosses represented 3,500 Southern Albertans and 120,000 Canadians who sacrificed their lives for our freedom. Walking through those crosses was an overwhelming experience for me. Imagining all those soldiers being scared and being brave at the same time. Having no choice but to do what was needed. ...
