The latissimus dorsi muscle has a little pouch at the superior edge that the shoulder blade sits in. This spot is a common area for restriction and spasm. When a problem, it limits the ability of the shoulder blade to rotate and elevate, limiting overhead motion.
Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and all the best in the new Year Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and all the best in the new Year
Hi everyone, I just wanted to touch base on the new update for Massage therapy . We are now allowed to work but will need a written prescription from a doctor or a written referral from a regulated health professional ( chiropractor or Physiotherapist were among the list) . We will also be getting new infection prevention control protocol that will be effective January 4 , 2021. I am going to try and start back January 4,2021 as I want to have all the requirements necessary for the new guidelines and I feel our health and safety is my biggest priority and would like to make sure I am going above and beyond what is required. I will be contacting everyone who had appointments booked for that time period and then going from there. Thank you so much for your patience and support . Jocelyn
Coccygeal (tailbone) pain can be a, well, pain in the butt. Sitting can be out of the question. The tailbone is quite flexible and tends to bend whichever way it's pulled. The key is balancing the various ligaments and muscles that attach to it.
Pain is complex. You're not a machine. Movement is medicine.... Tom
