The "Good for Seniors" Program is an interesting new initiative just launched by Telus to get smartphones in the hands of Low Income Seniors. The basics seem to be a free phone, at 25$ per month, and 3GB of data. (Note: We do not promote companies at the Resource Centre, and yet our Seniors Programs Manager flagged this to note how impactful it could be for seniors trying to access technology while making ends meet.)
