Heyyya everyone! Im Pam - aka Sunshine Gal I thought Id just take a minute to introduce myself and maybe tell ya a little bit about why I started Sunshine Gal. Almost 7 years ago I was diagnosed with Melanoma. ... I was a super active kid, always playing outside. Brown skin and white hair...I looked like a little Q-tip Into my teens and early 20s I tanned a little bit in tanning beds and looooved to lay in the sun. Then, my massage therapist noticed a mole that looked a little different than the last time I was in (6 months prior). Because my awesome massage therapist pointed this out at @summitmassagetherapy I was able to catch it super early! My odds of survival are very high. I do regular skin checks and am always being mindful of my time in the sun. I was afraid of the sun for quite some time after this happened, naturally. But as life goes on, I have learned everything within moderation. No more sunburns for this girl. After I discovered I had Melanoma I decided to buy some spray tan equipment to tan friends and family so they would stop tanning in tanning beds. Little did I know word would get around and it would turn into a thriving business! Even 7 years later. I discovered the amazing @tan_luis.spray.tan And they trained me up and got me on my feet! Still to this day Cory is my go to girl with questions We both use the most amazing product called @southseasofficial Its so natural! My skin reacts to almost everything. This is a common fear for people when deciding to get a spray tan lol Will I be orange and look like an oompa loompa...or trump? Will I look like Ross from friends? ... Now that summer is over and we arent outside, or now that we are all planning our winter escape to somewhere HOT, some may be starting to consider tanning in tanning beds to get that "base tan" before vaca or prolong the life of their sun kissed glow from summer. I will always be the first to encourage you to love the skin youre in. This is why you rarely see me with a tan myself. However, I very much know how amazing it can feel to have a beautiful tan for a special event, date night or vacation. And that is what Sunshine Gal is about! I often get asked by first time tanners... What do I wear in the tent? Well, that is completely up to you! Dependent on your comfort level. ... Some people love to wear their bathing suit in the tent for their tan Some love to just wear a thong Most prefer to have no tan lines And I think I just made a song BOOM haha In all seriousness, wear as much or as little as you like in the tent.
