In light of the recent covid-19 cases in our community, we are taking an immediate, proactive Approach at the studio. We will be using face masks for all in person lessons, also in addition to standard hand sanitizing upon entrance, students will be asked to wash hands thoroughly before and after their lesson. As per usual, the Studio instruments will be sanitized before and after each use.... We will also be happy to do your regular scheduled in person lesson via Zoom if you prefer. Our health and safety is Paramount and we are committed to providing a safe environment for everyone.

After six months of silence, there will finally be music in this building again. Today is a good day.

Hi everyone! We hope you're having a great summer. We are excited to start a new teaching year! The teaching year will begin on Tuesday, September 8th.... With the school district opening for in-person classes, the studio will be following suit. There will be protocols in place to follow social distancing and sanitization, as well as a separate entrance and exit at the studio. We are sensitive to everybody's needs and will be happily offering Zoom lessons as well. Group lessons will also be offered in person. We will be arranging the fall schedule at the beginning of next week. Please let us know if you prefer in person, or Zoom lessons. We are looking forward to another fun and exciting year of lessons!

Hello everyone. I hope you're all well. Due to the heavy rains and the flow of the Salmo River, I am currently under evacuation Alert in Salmo. There's a local state of emergency. I do not have cell service or internet at the moment. I'm not sure when they will be able to restore the service. I had to drive to Fruitvale to find a signal to send this email. I will be cancelling music class for Mom and Dad this evening. Also, there may not be lessons tomorrow depending on how l...ong it takes to restore the internet and whether, or not we will be evacuated. Fingers crossed the rain slows down and the rivers hold their Banks. I will follow up with you once I have more information.

Hello everyone. We hope all of you are well and all your families are safe. Our health and safety is the number one priority at this time.... Supercat Studios is taking a proactive approach and will be suspending all in-person lessons. Currently the studio has been closed since March 13th for March break. However the studio will be switching to a live, one-on-one video Lesson platform, starting Monday, March, 30th. The studio will be using several available video apps, ensuring all of our students will continue to receive fun and effective music lessons. The current group lesson students will all receive private, one-on-one lessons as well. We will be arranging scheduling during the upcoming week. Supercat Studios is committed to working with families who are currently facing Financial hardship during this difficult time. Sharing the benefits of music has always been the number one priority of the studio and it's important to continue to make it available to everyone. If any students require guitars, or ukuleles to participate in lessons at home, please let me know and I will arrange free, loaner equipment for you. Supercat Studios and Covid - 19. Hello everyone I hope you are enjoying your March Break as best as you can, given the current situation. We are all aware about Covid 19 and the impact it is having on families.... At this point the studio is planning to resume lessons on March 30th, as scheduled, after being closed for 17 days during March Break. There will be strict measures in place, to ensure the highest standard of health and Sanitation. Also, the studio will be rearranged to accommodate group lessons, whilst maintaining a safe, social distance. Live Video lessons will also be offered if required. Music is an integral role in many people's lives and Supercat Studios has always offered subsidies to families who cannot afford lessons, so their children can benefit from music, regardless of their financial situation. In light of the current situation and the financial impact on some of the families in our community, I am happy to offer lesson subsidy to any of our current students who are needing financial help. The world has lost a beautiful soul. It is with the deepest sorrow and the heaviest of hearts to announce the passing of one of our students. I have had the honour and pleasure of watching Max Hamm grow into an incredible young man. He was an anchor of the studio, an exemplary teammate, student and musician.... Max will leave an enormous void in our hearts and in our music. Loved and respected by everyone that knew him, he will be missed beyond words. Our students will be dedicating the entire set list for the spring shows to Max, performing songs from all his favourite bands. We are sending so much love and strength to the Hamm family at this incredibly difficult time.

A huge thanks to Gab Padilla for his generous donation to Supercat Studios. The studio has been subsidizing local families, who cannot afford lessons since day one and this donation will help fund some of these lessons. Cheers to Gab, Chantal, the musicians and supporters at the fundraising concert last Saturday at the Tailout Brewery.

A huge thank you to everyone who was able to come out to the Supercat show! We raised $771.65 for Deb McIntosh at the Community Harvest Food Bank!!! I'm so proud of all of our students who were able to perform tonight. They all did an amazing job. Thank you all the parents, relatives and friends who attended and donated so generously to the cause. Thank you to the Supercat team, Rhyan Johnstone and Dale Reitan for doing such a great job with the students and helping the show... run so smoothly. A huge thanks to Tammy Mandel and Lowell Castle at the Castle Theater for providing such an amazing venue for every fundraiser we put together!! And thanks to my favourite roadie and my best friend, Amy for helping with all the gear! Be proud of everything you all do!!! We have the greatest little town in the world!!

It's a great day for a rock and roll show! The Supercat crew will be performing at the Castle Theater in support of the Community Harvest Food Bank. Doors open at 5p, admission by cash donation.
