And then there is this: how does one marry one of her very best friends to her very best friend?! Not without a lot of pausing to breathe and allow the tears of joy to flow! We took our lovely sweet time - about an hour - and told stories, read poetry, and honoured past loves that have shaped us. Dear Alex, we will always miss you, always laugh at your quirkiness and never forget your passion for helping others. Thanks for being at your Mom’s wedding ceremony - we felt you everywhere And a special shout out to my son Evan for supporting Donna and doing everything possible to make her day special, especially with the oathing stone ritual. Ummmmm... who doesn’t believe in magic?! We got to hike into Stanley Park and tuck ourselves in among the majestic wisdom-keepers of this land, and then talk about love! It was an extraordinary experience with an extraordinary couple, big love to Jen and Robin Thank you! Shout out to Jelger and Tanya Photographers for capturing the energy so beautifully!

Nothing but FUN and laughter right from the start! During a trip to France, they both intended to declare their love... on a beach at sunset, at the same time!!! Ring purchased in Antwerp, and so it goes. I adore you both so much Renee and Matthew, thank you for making it official at Glass House Winery! Everything was beautiful and elegant, but nothing compared to you two !

This love story was so sweet and we were getting through it just fine until we got to the vows... nearly impossible to hold back the tears! My love to Danika and David - coming up to their 1 year anniversary soon!!

I am in awe of this place we get to call home, and of the job I get to do for the sweetest and most wonderful human beings... and for not sliding off that slope on a windy day at the very top of Whistler! Thank you, thank you Brittany and Andrew for giving me the gift of marrying you . It was an EPIC experience!!

Oh my, what a wonderful season! Can’t believe how busy it is, haven’t been able to post yet but once things swing into winter (and perhaps a little slower) will share lots of photos. Must share tho: yesterday was a show-stopper, on top of Whistler 7th Heaven! Like right at the top, perched on a rock ledge for an adventurous couple (whom I am completely in love with ). Sadly the Sea to Sky Gondola was vandalized - which is where we were supposed to be - but things turned out EVEN BETTER! Love this life! And a huge THANK YOU to all the couples who have trusted me with their love stories. It has been such a joy and honour to share!!

I love this season! Never get tired of love, don’t take anyone for granted and pay attention to their quirks because it’s the little things that make the great big, giant ball of GOO that wraps around our hearts and makes us adore them even more. Happy Sunday! Happy Loveday! (hmmm... that has a night ring to it, yes?!)

In ceremony all the beautiful day yesterday... with about 40 women, celebrating our right to BE women, to be completely free of social judgement, use our sweet singing voices to praise the Divine Great Mother, and we weaved... and we weaved... and we weaved... prayers and charms into our yarns... and we will continue to weave... The sense of peace and belonging I have this early morning after is unlike any other day-after-ceremony. Normally I am rejuvenated and a feel joy, b...ut this celebration moved something much deeper. There is a stillness AND a fire. You know that moment when you are standing in a big open field or clearing and there is just the melody of winged ones floating on the winds...? And then in the background you hear the faint sound of thunder.... is it thunder? Listen. Or is it the sound of a thousand wild horses charging over the hills... Pretty sure it’s the wild horses.
