The staff and management of Superior EMS would like to wish everyone a happy thanksgiving. Although this years thanksgiving is a very different one, please stay safe, enjoy your family bubble, and be thankful for the family and friends around us. A big thanks to all of the first responders working this weekend to ensure we stay safe and healthy. The office will be closed today, and will re-open Tuesday @11:30am. We have modified office this week to accommodate online training classes. Please be sure to check our website for current office hours.

Today’s been a busy day getting our new (bigger, as we keep adding PPE!) duty bags ready that will be issued to each of our staff which will include their own helmet, personal protective equipment including: extra gowns, surgical masks, N95 masks, an N95 respirator, gloves, safety glasses and face shields to ensure they have access to their own safety equipment at all times on shift (and off!). As we continually upgrade to ensure the safety and protection of our staff, today we replaced the old bulky safety helmets with a new lightweight model. Our crews wear this type of safety equipment while responding to calls on the racetrack, vehicle accidents and industrial environments to name a few. They are also now colour coded to identify our front line staff (high vis yellow), command staff (red) and senior leadership (white). #saultstemarie #waymorethanfirstaid #superiorems
