The Kawartha Charity Riders would like to thank all the local businesses that supported the KCR Christmas Hampers. This year we had an enormous list, and we wer...e able to assist over 20 families have a better Christmas. We especially want to thank the Kawartha Lakes Community, the outpouring of support for us and to other organizations and families has been outstanding. Thank You.

2020 was a difficult year for everyone, this was very true for us. But we managed to rethink the way we do things, and in doing so we were able to continue to h...elp the families and organizations in our community. From the Care Boxes to the Christmas Hampers we have had a busy year and because of all you helping us we managed to raise and donate close to $20,000 in food, toys and cash over the year. We would like to wish all of the people, riders, and companies that have supported us this past year a Happy New Year! May 2021 bring you happiness and success!

Lindsay Dodge Chrysler Ltd. and the Kawartha Charity Riders are teaming up again to fill the 1938 Dodge truck with toys! All toys will be donated to local famil...ies and organizations as part of our Christmas Hamper program. Dont forget to come and see us at the "DRIVE ON THROUGH" event on December 5th 11am to 3pm. Say HELLO to SANTA and drop off your letters with his ELVES! We will also be handing out Kawartha Wholesale Bakery's famous RAINBOW BREAD! This is the time, this year has been difficult for everyone and the need for donations is much greater...please bring an unwrapped new toy to Lindsay Dodge and support local business and organizations!

We would like to thank everyone who donated prizes and purchased spots for the KCR Raffle for Christmas Hampers. Because of all of you we have managed to raise ...$3374.00! This will go a long way to putting some very nice Christmas Hampers together. We are taking a little break to gather some more donations...stay tuned for the next raffle!!

Today we attend the funeral of a 7 year old boy, our buddy Ryker Worr, the original Little Worr-ior. It is a sad day. The family has asked that instead of flowers that donations be made to Sick Kids Foundation or Ronald McDonald House in memory of Ryker. WORR, Ryker Martin Reginald July 10, 2013 November 13, 2020... It is with broken hearts the family announce Ryker’s passing at home, surrounded by the love of his family, on Friday, November 13, 2020 at the age of 7. Cherished son of Peter and Cheri-Lei Worr. Loving brother of Olivia Worr. Treasured grandson of John and Gladys Black and Julie Jones-Worr (late Reginald). Ryker will be lovingly remembered by his aunts and uncles: Jessica and Jeffrey Richter, Pam and David Wilson, Paul Worr, Michael Black; as well as by his cousins: Amber, Cameron, Hannah, Ava and Ben. Ryker fought with strength and integrity. He will always be remembered as a Worr-ior who loved his video games.

Today, in addition to our Trunk or Treat, we also had the fortune of being able to provide @The Kawartha Charity Riders with a cheque for $1050 to support their... Christmas Hamper program. Each year, The Kawartha Charity Riders puts on some amazing fundraisers in our Community, including supporting our Toy Drive.
