When the pandemic started, Josephine was on the front line of seniors' care. Her commitment to helping our elders kept her going, in spite of fears about COVID. To help fix long-term care, we made changes that saved lives. But 16 years of BC Liberal neglect left care homes understaffed, and their policies forced workers like Josephine to work multiple jobs to survive. We need to keep working to make sure our seniors are safe. We can do it, together. But only if we have a government that puts people first.

The BC Liberals accused NDP candidate for Surrey White Rock, Bryn Smith, of being hand-picked by John Horgan. Now we know why they did so. That is how they operate. This is not new for them They did the same with Christie Clark. Bryn is a member of our community, has been involved with the local constituency and expressed his interest to run a short time before the election was called. He went through the vetting process in the normal way and was chosen by the riding, not the Provincial party. It seems that it is becoming a political norm for a party in trouble to accuse their opponent of their own wrong-doing.
