SSTL recently deployed to Quebec City to provide training to regional ferry organizations. Some deployments are more complicated than others. This particular deployment involved COVID considerations, extra PPE, improvised classrooms, a dry-docked ship, unusual boating areas, high tides and high currents, and a 14 day isolation. When all was said and done...Mission accomplished! A great and consolidated effort from the client and the students.

Our target date to resume regular training operations is April 6 2020. The ongoi...ng circumstances regarding COVID-19 have forced many organizations and companies into difficult choices while navigating uncharted waters. In this unprecedented situation, SSTL has tried to honour the commitments previously made to clients, as well as consider SSTL’s social responsibility in this crisis. SSTL is on the road again to deliver Command and Control and Managing Major Emergencies training at the clients’ location in the Russian Federation. The number of hours of preparation and setup that go into customizing these programs to the client needs is sometimes mind blowing (100+).
