I just went out for a walk with my dog Caramel, and we were pretty amazed by the beautiful sunset. No need to travel to Florida! What is it that you love about the pale beauty of January?

Today's the Boxing Day... so since this year is different anyway, we haven't been to the stores where they would've boxed up our after Christmas discounted purchases, why don't we un-box all the positives that we have right there, close to us, inside and around us. What are you most proud about yourself this year? What makes you uniquely wonderful? How can you be kind to yourself today?

Unity Uncountable noun: Unity is the state of different people, areas or groups being joined together to form a single country or organization.... - There is support for economic unity in trade and industry to promote growth and prosperity. - When there is unity, people are in agreement and act together for a particular purpose. - Speakers at the rally mouthed sentiments of unity. - The choice was meant to create an impression of party unity. Synonyms: agreement, accord, consensus, peace. I think we all need more unity. What do you think?

Feeling all the election day feels...

Seen on the verb as of late: This New Year's I will definitely stay up and see the year change. Not so much for the sake of welcoming the new one but to ensure that this one is definitely gone.

"When life gives you lemons, make lemonade." It is a proverbial phrase used to encourage optimism and a positive can-do attitude in the face of adversity or misfortune. Would 2020 not be a good moment to use the phrase? Lemons suggest sourness or difficulty in life; making lemonade is turning them into something positive or desirable. Next time when a setback hits, remember the yellow, tangy and vibrant lemons and turn the disappointing news into your advantage by a conscious, unwavering mental process. Double bonus: spread the lemonade attitude to others around you, and enjoy seeing them overcome their hurdles as well.
