Clients ventured to Mont Tremblant for a short ski holiday. Restaurants are closed. No eating in the chalets, only their family on the lifts. But they have ski in ski out condo unit with a loft, separate bedroom and a full kitchen. They go back to their chalet to warm up, eating either take out from the restaurants or preparing delicious meals they took with them. They are enjoying their mini break skiing as a family despite the lockdown. Please let me know if you would like information about booking your ski holiday.

Some exciting news from Air Canada. They have entered into an agreement with Shoppers Drug Mart in Ontario to allow clients to get tested for COVID prior to a flight with Air Canada. In addition, Hawaii has announced that with a negative Covid 19 test upon arrival, travelers are exempt from the 14 day quarantine period. Hawaii is a great place to go in the winter.... let me help you get there!

Here are some preliminary results from the pilot program testing international travelers at Toronto. The interim results indicate: 99% of study participants tested negative for COVID-19 with 1% testing positive Of the 1% testing positive for COVID 19:... 0.7% detected on arrival. 0.3% detected on day 7. <0.1% detected on day 14 The pilot phase has demonstrated the feasibility of airport-based testing with self-collected nasal/oral swabs as well as home-based collection during quarantine If it doesn't reduce the 14 day quarantine, at least it detects passengers coming into our country which is the most important part.

My first International traveler since March 13.. over 7 months!! I am so excited to be sharing a client's pictures from Ghana, West Africa. She departed from Toronto to Ghana on Air Canada Oct 31 and is travelling for a month. She spent the first week touring Accra and the Gold Coast. Now visiting with a friend in northern Ghana. I am so proud of her to follow her dream of doing an ancestry tour to the motherland despite the challenges COVID presents at this time. Let's start planning for 2021!

While it doesn't take the fact that we still have to isolate for 14 days upon our return, to have peace of mind while travelling is huge!! They really are trying to make travelling as safe as possible. Everyday we get a little closer!
