Sushi Bar Shu is shuu goood!!! I brought R to Sushi Bar Shu for his birthday. We had the omakase menu and loved it !! Everything was so fresh and delicious. The chef provided very descriptive details regarding each nigiri, sashimi, etc. They are also very nice and talkative. It was good company and made the experience all the better.... My favorite was the Uni nigiri. It was my first time trying Uni that was imported from Japan and oh my gosh, you can totally tell the difference. It was soft and had a tint of sweetness and it was just so good. The chef was sweet to let us try local uni to compare, and it was drastically different! The dessert was one of the highlights. The Shiso sorbet was so unique and yummy. I definitely would go back and order more of the sorbet. Delicious!! The additional A5 Wagyu steak was the best steak I have tried in Vancouver.
