The new 2021 locks have been placed on the range gate. You can pick up the 2021 club membership and range key at Moffetts Hardware and from Art Marr.

Members and guests Trap shoot Sunday afternoon Sept, 13. Starting 1:00 pm. Come out and join the fun.

Hey All: Just a quick note to provide our members with an update. Our executive committee met last Thursday evening to discuss a variety of items: Range - We are finally making some progress on getting a new lease for our range. This will increase the area that we lease to include the shot fall safety zones for our two shot gun ranges. The survey has been completed and the province now has the information they need to create a new lease document. We will need to do some wo...rk in cleaning up the new line and installing signage in the near future. All help welcome! In the meantime, our rifle and pistol ranges are open for your use. September meeting - Due to the on-going constraints proposed by Covid-19 we will not be holding our September monthly meeting this week. Our meeting room at the Senior's Centre is still not available. Hopefully by October things will continue to improve and we can get together once again. Hunter Awareness Day - Just a reminder on information that we sent out back in June. We will not be hosting our annual Hunter Awareness Day this year for the same reason. Even though this event is held outside, the number of visitors we attract exceeds the maximum currently allowed under the Covid-19 guidelines. The nature of this activity makes it impossible to ensure social distancing to keep everyone safe. Club House - We still have a day's work to finish shingling our club house. We will plan a work day in the next few weeks to complete this work. Fall weather seems to be upon us now and hunting season is just around the corner. Enjoy yourselves out there and stay safe. Notice to Shooters The shooting range will be closed Wednesday and Thursday from 8:00am until 5:00 pm this week. Survey crews will be working on site. Thursday Trap night will proceed at 6:30 until dark as planned. Hope to see you there.

HEY ALL SOME BIG NEWS!!! This Thursday night we are hosting our regular shoot at the range starting at 6:30. This week though we are having a barbeque and we are waiving the $5 fee for guests. So if you're not currently a member of the SFG and want to come out for the shoot this would be the night. Hope to see lots of folks there.
