Four different cover crop mixes available for use as a cover crop in fall and plow down in the spring to help with soil compaction, scavenge nutrients and build up soil organic matter. 1. SS Supreme Soil Cover Mix: Drilled @ 25lbs/acre or broadcasted @ 30lbs/acre Blend of Oats and Tillage Radish -This is an economical blend that establishes quickly and winter kills for easy termination. Tillage radish is great for scavenging nutrients and breaking up hard pans.... 2. SS Supreme N-Boost Mix: Drilled @ 20-25lbs/acre or Broadcasted @30lbs/acre Blend of Oats, Tillage Radish and Crimson Clover - An all purpose mix that established quickly and scavenges nutrients plus provides some Nitrogen. It will also provide some nitrogen and tillage radish is good for breaking up hard pans. 3. SS Multi-Species Mix: Drilled @ 20-25lbs/acre or Broadcasted @ 30lbs/acre Blend of Oats, Forage Peas, Tillage Radish, Crimson clover, Sorghum Sudangrass, Sunflower and Phacelia - a diverse mix that attracts pollinators if planted early. Establishes quickly and works extremely well as a cover crop. 4. SS Supreme Fall Graze Mix: Drilled at 40lbs/acre Blend of Oats, Enhancer Italian Ryegrass, Winfred Brassica, Frosty Berseem Clover and Pearl Millet -This is a diverse mix that provides excellent fall grazing if planted mid summer. You will have to terminate Italian ryegrass to avoid seed production if allowed to over-winter. Provides some nitrogen credits.
