Saffron Bulbs for Sale We are transplanting half our corms to a new field this summer and expect to have a couple of thousand extra bulbs for sale. Our corms produce saffron of the highest quality. Check out our INAF test results huge, bigly numbers crushes ISO Grade 1. ... For most recipes, when using superior Grade-1 saffron, a simple rule of thumb is three or four strands per serving. Since each flower produces three strands of saffron, a meal serving four requires approximately five flowers worth of saffron strands. The quality of saffron is dependent on its colouring (crocin concentration), odour (safranal) and taste (picrocrocin).
