Welcome to the 15th Annual Undergraduate Research Symposium: a virtual showcase of student research from all faculties. This year, instead of holding an event in MacEwan Hall, we asked participants to submit short video presentations of their work. These student researchers are competing for $23,000 in prizes and scholarships. Awards will be announced on Wednesday, Nov. 25. To see all of the research presentations, visit the link in our bio.

The Q Centre Pride Scholarship recognizes exceptional undergraduate students who have taken part in initiatives to serve the LGBTQ+ community both on and off campus and have shown positive leadership and volunteer capabilities. Apply at su.ucalgary.ca/qcentre!

We understand that money can be tight over the holiday season so to eliminate some of your stress, the Campus Food Bank has introduced the Holiday Hamper. The Holiday Hamper will be available as an add-on to your regular hamper request or can be ordered as a stand-alone hamper. All your favourite holiday food items will be included! Available Nov. 18 Dec. 9, 2020.... Clients are only eligible to receive one Holiday Hamper. Must show valid University of Calgary ID. The Stör is partnered with Leftover Foundations to redirect unsold food to those in need. Today, we made a big drop off that will be distributed to many different charitable groups!

Quality Money is a way for the campus community to get involved and make their ideas for improving campus a reality! The deadline for Quality Money applications is November 27, 2020. These are just some of the Quality Money projects to update study spaces around campus. The pandemic and shut to online learning means not everyone is on campus, but community inputs means a better campus for when we can safely return!
