I started babysitting when I was 11. My next-door neighbours were confident that if anything went wrong, I could call my parents, so they left me alone with their toddler. When I turned 12, I received my babysitters certificate in hopes of getting more clients and making more that I could spend however I wanted. Over time my base of clients grew through customer referrals and I got busy with regular work. Similar to my business today. If you do enough good work it DOES star...t to get a lot easier to attract and retain clients (once you earn your stripes). Today I took a client out for lunch that I have been working with for a few months but hadn’t met in person yet (you know COVID). Anyway she felt comfortable enough to do a sizeable deal with me, even though she hadn’t even met me before. That is the power of customer referrals. They can be a golden ticket to business growth.
