We made some small yet very significant changes in this master bedroom. It was such a great space to work with, we just needed to kick it up a notch. Again, only using what the client already had we think it looks pretty fabulous. What we changed: Removed the area rug, notice how the light bounces off the floor & makes the space feel larger, brought in the second bedside lamp, removed the small mirrors above the headboard, styled the floating shelf with some of my clients ...fabulous hats, and painted out the trim above the sliding door. All it takes is a little bit of love, some creativity & a trained eye. Good morning! Today I want to highlight what we can do in a home using what the client already has. This particular client tried every possible configuration with her living room furniture except the one you see here. Corner fireplaces can be the trickiest as it makes furniture placement challenging. As you enter the home into the living room we needed to make it warm and welcoming. Notice we removed the piano, used the piano bench as our coffee table, removed excess items, t...ook down the shelf with the computer and used the existing hutch as our desk. We also painted out the opening into the kitchen the wall colour, creating a seamless flow. Sometimes all you need is a professional to come in with a trained to see the possibilities. .
