The river conditions were pretty awful for landing a trophy, but Durvesh was able to bank a couple of fish including this perfect eating sized steelhead. Perfect way to enjoy this beautiful weather before the freeze up that will be coming sooner than later!

Lake Ontario Pike and Perch right in the GTA! Rates are $150 for 5 hours and $200 for 7 hours. $50 for each additional angler, up to 3 total. That includes a full guiding session, rod rental, bait, fish finder, tackle, a heated hut, and a hot breakfast. Potential to catch rainbow trout, brown trout, bowfin, crappie, and bass. No need to leave the city for an authentic ice fishing experience any longer!

I had the pleasure of spending the afternoon with Farhan and Ehab, and after more solid hookups than any other group Ehab finally sealed the deal on the very last drift of the evening. Couldn't have ended the trip better for these 2 and couldn't have scripted a better ending of the season for me. I've had a terrific month and a half, but it's time to take some much needed time off to chase walleye and aurora trout up north. Don't forget, Trout and Salmon season CLOSES September 30th as a whole, but good luck to the guys chasing the late runs through the extended season areas. What a morning! Tom and his nephew Jack came ready to get Jack on his first Chinook, and it didn't take more than a half hour before his drag was screaming! The duo went 5 for 8, including our longest salmon of the year at 39.5" for Jack! Congratulations fellas!

Had a great afternoon trip with Ben and Dave. Ben scored himself his first and second ever salmon, a nice hen to bring home for some roe and a buck coming in at a hair over 38" and 24lbs that was returned to finish his spawning process. Congratulations Ben!!
