Good luck to our teams that are starting official game play this weekend Go SWAT! With rink capacity limits in place, here are a few ideas for keeping up with the games when you cannot attend. - Have a parent provide live updates on TeamSnap through the live event feature. (Double points if that person knows all the names/numbers of players and what the ref signals are!) ... - Live stream the game on social media. Facebook Live is pretty easy to set up. (Please send a direct message if you need help getting started!) Tips for live streaming: use a tripod along with a phone that has unlimited data. The rink wifi is spotty and impacts picture quality. (We have heard of teams using team funds to purchase a simple tripod and a data rocket stick to facilitate streaming, which is a great idea!) - Start a team chat during the game to talk to other parents, cheer and socialize! Do you have other ideas? Please share in the comments. If we all put our heads together, we can think up some great options.
