New 5.0-star Review: "Done Right, Done Fast, Done Well! I hired Sweenie Moving for a residential move in town. From start to finish, Sean and the Sweenie team exceeded my exceptions. Prior to the move, they provided a realistic estimate of the cost of the move (many companies will offer a low-ball offer in order to get the job). They happily provided free supplies for packing including special boxes for pictures and tv's. They were gracious and flexible when I had to shift ou...r moving date back one month on short notice. And, they arranged for a special parking permit for their truck so I didn't have to. On moving day, the crew arrived on time, they worked very fast (I wasn't quite ready for them to be that fast). They worked hard for almost eight hours and didn't take any breaks. They wrapped everything very well, they took great care of the special keys (i.e. the storage locker and elevator key). The move in and move out went well. The team took great care to make sure that every box and piece of furniture was delivered to the correct place. I was also impressed that the team repaired a piece of furniture that was damaged prior to the move without me asking. Post moving day, the Sweenie team offered to pick up my used moving boxes when I'm finished unpacking. This really appeals to me because I like the concept of recycle, reuse, reduce. They share used boxes with future customers. When the move was all done, the actual cost was less than the original estimate. If I need to move again, I will be calling the Sweenie Team. Nothing got broken or damaged because they used their years of experience to execute perfect technique with some very large, heavy items and protected everything with moving blankets. They were also very patient and professional. (We weren't 100% packed when they arrived right on time.) And they very appropriately dealt with ...an aggressive and angry bystander who was upset about them tying up the elevator and tried to create a nasty scene. (I guess the bystander has never moved before and expected that everything should get done instantly by waving a magic wand.) I would totally recommend the Sweenie team and, at the same time, remind myself to allow enough packing time so the team doesn't have to work such a long day." See more

They came to our home and packed all of our belongings for us on the date and time promised. The crew were really friendly, and hard working. The following day, they arrived to load everything, and again, on time, friendly and hard working. The following week, when we took possession of our new condo, they were there at the time w...e expected them. We unpacked as much as we could while they were on site, and completed the unpacking after they left. They had agreed to come back to pick up all of the remaining boxes and packing materials. We called them immediately, however, after three different times we were told they would be there to pick these up, they finally came on the fourth time, a couple of weeks later. Thus the 4 stars instead of 5. Other than that hiccup, they were a real pleasure to work with, and the price actually came in less than quoted, after they had weighed the load. We were given good advice on packing up our home and help with boxes and packing materials. The move out was fast and well handled by the crew. Great care was taken with our possesions and the loading went really smoothly. It was the same at the other end. We had a great crew and they could not have been more helpful. It made moving in a breeze. I know that Sweenie's take great care in selecting their people and it shows.
