This is because the flooding is taking some crops out a bit early, and because we have a commitment to providing as much variety as we can to our Harvest Share Members, who pre-payed in the spring and have supported us all year. Well this is the view from one edge of our field today after the storm yesterday. Yikes. This is the earliest flooding we've seen in our time here. Pumpkin season is here We’ve been working all season to grow pumpkins! Lohbrunner Farm is a local, non-profit, certified organic, community farm initiative in your back yard...and this season we need your support!! To fundraise for our seasonal costs and farm maintenance our special pumpkins are now on sale! Celebrate pumpkin season and feel good about supporting your local food co-op. Experience the joy of selecting the *perfect pumpkin* on the Lohbrunner Farm! Saturday... and Sunday between 11AM-4PM October 10/11 and 17/18 for a pumpkin sale to support your local working community farm. On Saturdays @IndecentRisotto will be on site serving hot lunch. (15% of proceeds go directly back to the farm!) In alignment for the latest provincial COVID-19 physical distancing requirements we have 6 acres and have established safe paths so you and your family have lots of room to roam, pick, and play (max groups of 6).
