It was our pleasure to play our part in this fabulous event:)

I’m looking for a family who is willing to commit, along with their children, to come to Trot in Time Farm every Thursday to collect fresh eggs. This will be fo...r the entire summer. The eggs are yours to keep. Pick up can be any time after lunch until 8:00 pm on your day. The eggs are free but you need to commit to collecting the eggs every Thursday. This is a program that I would like to start so as to teach children a little about farming and also being responsible. The Thursday family will join 3 other families who have already enrolled in my program. Within another two weeks or so the eggs should be full size. And, remember, the eggs are yours to take home each time you come with your children. I’m also thinking of getting another 12 lady hens and, trust me, these are very nice ladies. I’m hoping the children will learn all about the chickens and how hard the hens work each day to give us eggs. I will have a whiteboard in the barn so the children can write down how many eggs they collected that day so the other families can see. I think it will be fun. BONUS! The families can also visit our gardens each time they visit the chickens just to see just how hard seeds work to produce the veggies we eat. If the weather cooperates maybe my vegetable gardens will do better this year. When the vegetables are ready to harvest the families can pick what they like. Again . . . for free!! And, again, hopefully, the children can come to appreciate how things grow and the work it takes along the way. Visits can be made to the gardens any day. Lord knows I can’t eat them all!! -BASIL

Instagram and Pinterest are great but it's way more exciting to have culinary artwork brought to you directly. This was as delicious as it was beautiful. Paris-Brest Brasserie 701 Crispy Cream Puff, Cashew Praline, Milk Chocolate Sauce, Hazelnut and Chocolate Ice Cream.....Oh. My. GOD!
