Tomorrow is our Halloween party from 9:00-12:00noon!!!! It’s going to be a much different party than in previous years, but I am still determined to make it a blast for the kids!!! Today: We read Room on the Broom one of my FAVE Halloween stories! It was gifted to us by a friend. It has such amazing, descriptive words & details for the kids to learn from. Our 6 year old dayhome girl led the craft by assisting in cutting and pasting. ... These kids are rockstars!! So proud of this crew!! Outside for a game of Zombie soccer.

Our dayhome has: An educated provider to take care of your child, a safe and large environment (including a fenced yard) for your child to play in safely. Our policies and protocols were updated on March 16th, 2020 to reflect the parameters outlined by AHS, in order to keep our dayhome families, children & environment safe. I carry a: -4 Year Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology -Business License -Police Security Clearance -Child Intervention Record Check -Clean, Spacious home -Large fenced backyard for the kids to run & play in -Smoke Free Environment -Standard First Aid and CPR -Suicide Intervention Certificate -Enhanced protocols in place for COVID19 At our dayhome, we teach our kids: -to take turns, share and play fair! -to be part of the community, -to socialize appropriately, -to interact politely with their friends; At our dayhome, we like to have fun with our kids and work on reaching those milestones! We stick to a structured schedule so that children fall into a natural pattern and know exactly what to expect at the Dayhome. We have daily storytime, interactive song time, free play, outdoor play, we practice math and work on our reading skills! Given the circumstances in our province we will be working on more individualized programming for children in order to assist with their daily learning. We like to keep our kids busy!! Your kids will be playing outdoors, climbing & building, working on crafts, painting, reading & writing, and working on their milestones. We are so proud of our dayhome kids and how amazing they are at helping!! Their growth and respect for one another is incredible.
